iwishyouwerehere is an on-going conceptual photography project. All the images in this project were captured and then edited in my iPhone. I like the constraints the iPhone camera presents and see it as an experimental automatic-type camera that can focus discussion around the ideas of specific photographic technology, the vernacular of the iPhone, and what constitutes a good photograph.

I’ve set up my toolbar with a link labeled ‘iwishyouwerehere’. You can follow the updates from this project by clicking on this toolbar option as well as opting to follow this [and all of my] posts by clicking on the ‘subscribe to entries’ option on the upper left hand of the page above my name. I recommend doing both, but, then again, I am completely biased. Please note, all caption information can be found by clicking on the “i” button in the top left-hand corner of the slideshow.

This is Part Three, click here to see Part One.

Project Update: The link above will take you to the first series of photographs I started in the spring of 2010. Part two, which just ended, will be shown as a set at a later date. For now, I am focusing my efforts on completing what has been an amazing project and preparing for the opening of iwishyouwerehere in October of this year. Please check back often for new images.
